About Wilczak Photography

Raised in the idyllic setting of the Cotswolds it was of little surprise that I developed a passion for the natural world. Photography has supplied the platform to express this interest and to help raise the issues associated with my chosen subjects and the work of NGO's.

The choice of this medium was cemented by attending the BA (Hons) photography degree at the University College of Falmouth, completing the course with a first class degree. In the years since my work has been widely recognised and has appeared in numerous publications. I have also been awarded in various competitions. This has included winning the search for an image to promote the relaunch of Fuji Films Velvia 50 in the UK and achieving third place in the GDT Fritz Polking Junior 2009 award. I have lectured on the aesthetics and technicalities of photography and returned to Falmouth to provide tuition to the newly formed Marine and Natural History Photography degree.

My work is largely focused on long term projects, creating complete stories with strong narratives. It is this time invested in the subject, combined with a creative disposition, that results in work that I hope will excite the viewer and encourage their relationship with, and appreciation of, the natural world.

Through this site you can view Galleries of photographic stories or dip into the Image Bank for a wider selection. From here you can purchase both stock images for editorial and advertising use. Stock photographs are available to download directly as high quality jpegs from our archive, with other file types available on request, and we are also happy to create custom lightboxes if required.

You can also use the website for purchasing books, merchandise and booking workshop places.

We are proud to offer our extremely limited and collectable archival, fine art prints. These are showcased in our sister site barneywilczak-fineart.co.uk. These limited edition prints by Barney Wilczak are available to purchase through our gallery representatives, the Dadbrook gallery.

In addition to supplying stock photographs and archival prints, as detailed above, I run an experienced and efficient photographic service to suit all of my clients needs. With a high degree of competency in a wide range of photographic fields, from studio to lifestyle, landscape to macro, I am well equipped to provide an effective service. All time frames can be accommodated, whether recording a short event or a long term documentation. I am also available to lecture, be this a display of photographs or on the elements of technique. If you are interested in any of these services please use the contact page and I will provide you with more information.
